Message	if you mess up, you can hurt yourself, but for beginners, they have foam padded nunchaku..they actually have it on ebay for 10 bucks. then you buy the real nice one..it is very compact and very leathal, and if you are ever searched, it isn't considered a "real weapon" in US. i don't know why, but they have this thing in america...Nunchaku is a toy..but guess what? it's not.
